I think it’s fitting that the previews end with Kronos whispering deceit into Aidoneus’ ear, one of my favorite snippets from Receiver of Many. Enormous thanks to Rachel Alexander/@kata-chthonia for authoring the book I based this story upon, and I hope you’ll enjoy it!
Aidoneus Betrayed is probably one of my favorite pieces in the book because designing his armor was so fun. The first spot goes to Aidoneus Pierced, which you’ll be able to see in the book ;)
As a bonus, WIPs and process pieces for the illustrations are included in the book! If you like what you see on my Tumblr and you’re interested in seeing my process and random sketches, I have included a few pages in there.

HI EVERYONE! I am so, so honored and excited to be sharing with the world a preview of my first illustrated book, The Sixth Equinox, based off Receiver of Many by Rachel Alexander/@kata-chthonia.
Telling a story of a couple separated by circumstances beyond their control was something I really wanted to do, as I was in a long distance relationship for two years. There’s this anxiousness that despite talking on the phone with him everyday, you fear that lack of physical intimacy diminishes that love somehow, and you just want to give everything up to be back with him.
So remember that Receiver of Many illustrative story that I’ve been working on? Yep, it’s here! I am REALLY excited to announce The Sixth Equinox!
Persephone returns to Hades for the sixth time, both of them unsure and anxious of their feelings for each other. Journey through the six months of waiting before their reunification, bound to their roles through the will of the Fates, and their temptation to throw the cosmos into chaos in order to return.
It will be available as an ebook format on Amazon Kindle, and it will be released on 6th December 2015.
I’ll be previewing the first 10 spreads or so during the next two weeks. The first preview will go up on the 28th of November, the second preview on the 2nd of December, and the third preview on release day itself.

is the only thing my fingers deserve to grow
I care not for the velvet rose and brushed sunflower
nor hardened wheat or ripened barley
I would cover the land with your sacred bloom of death
Just for a memory of you.
